Leah's Pantry believes everyone deserves nourishing meals every day.  We inspire healthy habits and build resilience in children, adults, and seniors in low-income communities across California.  We believe healthy eating is not only about what you eat but also about a positive connection to food and the people you share it with.

We design and implement community-based programs which fall into three distinct but overlapping areas.  Click the icons below to learn more.

We work at the intersection of public heath and hunger relief, but go beyond the traditional work of nutrition education and hunger relief providers.  We have expanded our lens to consider not just the ways that food prevents chronic disease and hunger, but the also the way that food shapes our lives and the lives of communities.  We consider the impact of trauma and the opportunities for nutrition, cooking, and hunger relief sites to build resilience.
