Check out our 2015 Annual Report, a short and sweet summary of all that we accomplished last year. It opens up with a letter from Adrienne, followed by telling infographics. It was a great year. Did you know that this year marks our 10th anniversary? We're planning a big celebration in May: you'll see an invite early next year. We look forward to another impactful decade!

We were proud to present our poster on the EatFresh.org Mini Course, titled Designing Online Nutrition Education for Low Digital Literacy Populations, at the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior conference in San Diego. Our poster was met with enthusiasm from other attendees, and it was encouraging to learn how other organizations across the country are also using online tools like eLearning and text messaging to deliver nutrition education. We walked away with new connections and ideas!

A HUGE thanks to Potrero Hill Whole Foods. Through their Nickels for Non-Profits program, they raised over $2,600 for Leah’s Pantry. This money will go towards kids’ programming, which means more tasty food and hands-on learning.

We led Food Smarts classes as part the Integrated Pain Management Program that is a partnership between SFDPH’s Tom Waddell Urban Health Center and UCSF’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. This innovative pilot program, spurred by a community-identified opiate problem, creates a holistic approach to healing using interventions such as acupuncture, massage therapy, meditation, and cooking/nutrition education. Watch as Lexi, one of our workshop participants, shares her thoughts on the Rice Cooker Quinoa, Chickpeas, and Greens recipe we made.
