Leah’s Pantry is hiring an Project Coordinator to oversee the technical aspects, including management of development subcontractors. 

This position is part-time, 30 hours per week.  We are open to candidates in both San Francisco and San Diego.


Compensation: $28/hour

Position Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordination and submission of reporting data for government contracts

  • Management of design, development and translation subcontractors working on Eatfresh.org and Food Smarts products

  • Internal staff and external partner support for our learning management system (Moodle)

  • Social media and email coordination (this position requires some content writing but does not have primary responsibility for content)

  • Support development, design, and distribution of print materials.

  • Management of the Leah’s Pantry website updates, especially the Eatfresh.org Integration Toolkit (not content writing)

  • Support Development Manager in managing individual donor database

  • Management of Google Adwords for Eatfresh.org

  • Google Analytics and social media reporting


  • This is a technical position. Must be very comfortable with using web-based software independently and be able to offer technical assistance to staff and external partners.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills. Experience with project management software, like Trello, and Agile product development a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Web Design/Development, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or similar)

  • Experience with user experience testing and facilitating focus groups a plus.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS); experience with Drupal, Moodle, and Squarespace preferred.

  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Experience with Hootsuite and MailChimp (or similar products) a plus.

  • High level of proficiency in using MS Office and Google Docs. Ability to format spreadsheets, make efficient use of formulas and stay digitally organized essential.
