Last Quarter in Photos


With the help of PlusM Productions, we created four promotional videos for EatFresh.org. While each video highlights different people’s stories and features of EatFresh.org, all celebrate the healthy conversations that are happening throughout California.


 

We worked with San Diego’s African and Middle Eastern Community Cooks to develop a cookbook full of healthy, diverse, and delicious recipes inspired by each region. This project was a collaboration with the International Rescue Committee San Diego, the United Women East African Support Team, and UC San Diego. More details to come for our Cookbook Launch Party in 2016!


 

Monica ran a workshop at the Children's Council on Promoting Healthy Eating and Positive Feeding Practices. In addition to learning new strategies, childcare providers were the kids for a change as they completed activities and sampled healthy snacks and meals.



Did you know that Leah’s Pantry is the fiscal sponsor for the San Diego Food Systems Alliance? With approximately 35 members, this collaborative works to develop and maintain an equitable, healthy and sustainable food system. In October, the Alliance held an innovative Food Waste Solutions Summit.
